Achilles and Erobus appeared along the shoreline, the one tinged of white bounding upon every stride. His brother, the one touched by black, seemed slower and more cautious, but Darkness swirled in both sets of orbs. Two sets of crystal blue eyes surveyed Silver Lake with interest. They were newcomers, true, but they had been drawn here by a heavy Dark presense. That essense could be felt strongly around here, and it was only a few moments before they turned to face it. Eraghot watched the two from the shadows of the forest surrounding his favorite hideout. He wondered what they were doing here and where they had come from, but most importantly, why did they turn to face him now. Without fear, he strode forward from the darkness and let the sun's dying rays hit his red pelt, turning it bright like fire. The red wolf's crimson orbs looked from one brute to the next, then he opened his maw to speak. "Who are you to come into these lands?"

"We are the twins," the one with white forelegs replied as he bowed to the wolf he sensed from which the Darkness was flowing. "Achilles and Erobus. I am Achilles, and this is my brother Erobus."
Erobus, the one with white around his eyes, simply nodded to show his reverence. "We have come to join you, Dark one."

"You are mistaken," Eraghot growled deep in his throat, large pointed ears flattening against his skull. "I am not the one you seek."

"Oh?" Achilles responded, his ears pricking forward and brows raising skeptically as he began to circle the red wolf. "Then what of the Dark aura about you, m'lord?"
"You cannot deny it," Erobus added with a sly smirk that showed hisbright white fangs as he began to circle in the opposite direction. "It wafts off you like light from the full moon."

"My heart belongs to neither the Dark nor the Light," the Son of the Desert replied, his bushy tail flicking back and forth at his ankles as his scarlet orbs followed the two brothers in their circling.
"Then we shall bring forth your Darkness into the light!" Achilles cried as he suddenly leapt.

Eraghot jumped to the side only to crash into Erobus who was waiting for his dodge. The red wolf tumbled with the black-tinged brother, but he watched where the white-touched one went as he did so. When Achilles pounced again, Eraghot flipped over Erobus and allowed the two brothers to crash into each other. "No," the Son of the Desert replied as he shook his head. "You shall not." With that, he turned on his heel and disappeared into the growing night.
